Our residents are privileged to have thirty-six spectacular holes on two magnificently maintained regulation championship golf courses located right here on our property. These spectacular courses, designed by former PGA star Billy Casper, and known in the professional golf community as the highly rated, Mountain Vista Golf Club, provide resort-style golf play for all comers and host several tournaments each year. These renowned championship golf courses were one of the reasons Money.com chose Sun City Palm Desert to be in its "the 8 Best Places to Retire in America".

Our two courses offer lush, extremely well-maintained greens at an exceptional price, probably why we have been referred to as "A hidden Gem" and "The best value for a championship golf course in the valley". Our friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff is there to greet you and they are available to offer tips on how best to play each course.

The two courses each offer their own different character and are both challenging for all skill levels. Our facilities include exceptional practice facilities including a large driving range, multiple putting and chipping courses, plus a complete Pro Shop. We offer pay-as-you-play opportunities seven days a week with no golf membership fee. Resident 2024/2025 Season Pay-As-You-Play rates run from $86 to $98 during the "season" for 18 holes and $47 to $54 for 9 holes. The Twilight rate is only $57 to $65 during the "season" and residents can also participate in our Rate Lock plans in which the Resident rates drop to as low as $42 to $65 during the "season" for 18 holes and $23 to $36 for 9 holes.
